She has completed MBA coursework at the University of Chicago, as well as all the coursework provided by the Synectics Institute (an institute that teaches ideation/creativity skills in business) in Cambridge, MA. Ms. Douglas is currently working on her Ph.D. in psychology from Southern Methodist University, with a specialty in corporate psychology/mediation.
Lana has served on several boards including the board of directors for the Dallas YWCA and Dallas Chamber Music, as the chairperson of the Texas/Oklahoma Ford Motor Company Dispute Settlement Arbitration Board, and the advisory committee for the Child Care Group (the largest non-profit recipient of City of Dallas United Way funds).
